Encourage your students to stop by this important and hearing-saving event as District Speech and Hearing professionals, with assistance from MHS Student Body Officers, will be testing students’ Ipods & MP3 players to see if they are set at safe listening loudness. This is part the “Love Your Ears” campaign that is conducted each February.
When this activity was conducted two years ago at MHS, it was found that almost 70% of students tested were listening at unsafe loudness levels. Testing will be held in the MHS Commons area during both lunch periods and chocolate will be available. Lunch times are: 1st lunch 10:56-11:26; and 2nd lunch 12:38-1:09.
