SCHOOL BOARD MEETINGS, STUDY SESSIONS, AND SPECIAL MEETINGS ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
Board meetings are conducted for the purpose of carrying on the business of the schools, and therefore, are not public meetings, but meetings held in public.
Special accommodations for the hearing or visually impaired will be made upon a request of the Murray City School District at (801) 264-7400. We would appreciate notification two working days prior to the meeting.
The Murray City School District Board of Education reserves the right to adjust the schedule or cancel any meetings it deems necessary consistent with the Utah Open and Public Meetings Act
Members of the public are invited to participate via electronic means by viewing the board meeting on the
Murray City School District YouTube Channel.
At each regular board meeting (not study sessions), time will be set on the agenda near the beginning of the meeting to permit the Board to hear from Murray residents, parents of students attending Murray City School District, and current employees of the district who wish to make a public comment. Each individual will be limited to three minutes with a total of 30 minutes to be set for this purpose. A Murray resident, parent of a student(s) attending Murray City School District, and current employees of the district may make this request by signing their name on the ‘Patron Comment’ form posted on the table outside the board room from 4:30 pm – 5:00 pm on the day of the meeting. Each individual will be limited to three minutes (approximately 400 words or less) with a total of 30 minutes to be set for this purpose. Please view Board Policy SB 112 regarding public participation at board meetings for policy on participation at board meetings.
