To teachers in the Murray City School District:

In August, the Murray Education Foundation (MEF) sponsors an annual Golf Tournament to raise funds to support teacher grants that benefit Murray City School District students. Each teacher in the district can apply for up to $500 per year to be used in their classroom for projects related to their curriculum.

As you attend professional conferences over the summer and begin planning for the 2018-2019 school year, you may find yourself wanting to do a project but do not have a source of funding to implement it. An MEF grant may be able to help you! Applications for the 2018-2019 school year will be completed online and are available at MEF Grant Application (opens in new window). Applications will be accepted through August 31, 2018.

Note: To complete the grant application, you will need to be logged in to your MCSD Google Account prior to clicking on the link above.  Your MCSD Google account username is your email address (example: jdoe@murrayschools.org); and the default password is Murray 16 (unless you have changed it.) 

A reminder email of this MEF Teacher Grant opportunity will be sent again in August. The MEF Board wanted you to have this information early on so you can be aware of this opportunity and apply at your leisure before August 31, 2018.
