Information

The Murray School District Assistive Technology (AT) Team is dedicated to improving the communication and learning skills of students with disabilities who have an IEP or 504.  Our Team consists of an Occupational Therapist, Special Education Teachers, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Speech-Language Technicians.  In addition to our regular teaching responsibilities, the team volunteers to assess, train, and consult with Assistive Technology. We can provide equipment for a student or teacher to use on a trial basis, answer parent or staff questions and help brainstorm new ideas.  We do not provide ongoing services or therapy.

The Murray AT Team works closely with the Utah Assistive Technology Teams (UATT), which was established by the state to serve as a resource for assessment and development of assistive technology systems for students who have limited ability to fully participate in school and life activities.  UATT currently functions under the umbrella of Work Force Services.
