General Policies
Registration for class should take place at least one week prior to starting date so that it may be determined whether the class will carry. If class is short one or two students, the starting date may be postponed until sufficient enrollment is reached. Students will be notified if this occurs. When enrollment in a class is below the required number, MCE reserves the right to cancel it. When the Murray City School District is closed due to severe weather, power failure, or other circumstances, Murray Community Education will also be closed.
Refund Policies
A full refund is available prior to the first class and requests can be taken over the phone. A 50% refund will be given after the first class. No refunds will be given if the second class has met.
Safe and Orderly School Policy: No person shall, on the basis of sex, race, national origin, age, and/or disability be excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination in employment or any of the programs or activities.
Murray Community Education complies with the Murray School District Safe and Orderly Schools Policy (PS416). Participants in violation of this policy may be excluded from participation in any MCE program. Copies of this policy are available in the MCE and School District offices.
