NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY SERVICE PROJECT

 

We have an awesome group of kids in our National Junior Honor Society! They just finished their first service project for the inaugural year of Honor Society. As a group they collected: 161 children’s books, 197 miscellaneous Items (including 74 glue containers, 13 pairs of scissors and 27 packets of crayons/markers), and 75 tied fleece blankets!!!

The project was organized by the NHS officers and the items will be donated to Primary Children’s Hospital. A huge thanks to all the NHS members and their advisor, Ms. Dansie!

 

 

 

END-OF-YEAR LIBRARY REMINDERSbooks

 

Students, remember that you will not receive a yearbook unless all library fines are paid and all books are returned to the library. All books are due on Friday, May 11. The week of Monday, May 14-Thursday, May 17 is the last week the library will be accepting fines. After Friday, May 18, students will have to stand in the long lines at the office. The library will stay open and collect all books until the last day of school

Congratulations to our amazing band and orchestra teacher Kathie Webster for winning the prestigious Pinnacle Award! The Pinnacle Award recognizes five educators, one classified employee, and one volunteer for their outstanding efforts and excellence in the Murray City School District.
