SIGHTFEST is an event that provides FREE EYE EXAMS and GLASSES to those students who qualify. If your child failed their school vision screening, has lost or broken glasses and needs assistance in replacement, you will want to take advantage of this opportunity!
Spaces are limited and on a first come first serve basis. Your child qualifies to participate in SIGHTFEST if you are in any of these situations:
• Your child does not have medical insurance that covers a vision exam and/or glasses
• Your child is eligible for the free or reduced lunch program at school.
The MCSD SIGHTFEST event will take place during school Friday, January 19, 2018, at the Murray School District Office. Transportation services will be provided for participating students from and back to their schools during school hours. Each qualifying student will receive a FREE PROFESSIONAL EYE EXAM and a FREE PAIR OF EYEGLASSES of their choice if it is determined that they need them at the exam. Their new glasses will then be delivered to each child’s school approximately three weeks after the event.
Contact your school nurse as soon as possible to participate.
