Tina Nilsson was named as one of 10 outstanding educators honored this year with a prestigious Huntsman Award for Excellence in Education. Each winner receives $10,000 and is invited to attend a banquet honoring them for their outstanding work in education. The nomination process is quite rigorous and honorees are selected by a panel of distinguished education and business leaders. Ms Nilsson hired in 1995 as a 6th grade teacher at Longview Elementary where she has worked for 19 years. We are proud to have Huntsman Award Winner Tina Nilsson as a Murray educator!
