MEDIA CENTER (DMC) RULES:
The District Media Center is for the exclusive us of Murray City
School District Employees and support personnel, such as PTA.
They are not for use by the general public or students.

The
facilities are to be used for the benefit of Murray Schools
students.

All
supplies used must be paid for or logged to the appropriate
school.

Please
clean your work area and return any dies used to their appropriate
alphabetized storage slots before leaving.

Glitter
is not allowed in the DMC, as it causes several problems with
equipment.

Personnel
should not bring children into the center.

This
facility supports and adheres to Federal Copyright Law.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PERSONELL
USING THE DMC:
The District Media Center was established to enhance student learning.
It is to be used by those directly involved in teaching students,
and also for support personnel. The following are some basic guidelines
and rules to help everyone get the most use from the facilities:
• Because the equipment and supplies are purchased with tax
monies, they are to be used exclusively for student benefit.
• Under no circumstances should the center be used for any
religious or business purposes.
• The DRC has been set up to be semi-self-serve. If you need
instruction or assistance, Julia Wayman will be happy to help you.
Printing services are provided by Julia Wayman. Because of the nature
of the copy and duplicating machines, the duplicators and copiers
are code-protected and Julia has the codes.
• Should you need printing done, please give Julia a minimum
of two days notice. Every effort will be made to accommodate your
needs.
• Because there is equipment with sharp edges, very hot surfaces
and potential dangers to children, PLEASE DO NOT BRING CHILDREN
TO THE RESOURCE CENTER! Safety is a great concern. We don’t
want anyone injured.
• All supplies used while at the center must be logged and
signed for or paid for. A receipt can be given upon request. Printing
and supplies which have been logged will be billed to the school

a time

effective
