About McMillan Elementary School:
- School schedule – 8:35 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.; Friday is Preparation
Day with school hours 8:35 a.m. to 1:20 p.m.
- Enrollment – McMillan Elementary serves approximately 410 students
from kindergarten through sixth grade.
- School promotion – Students promoted from McMillan attend Hillcrest
Junior High and Murray High School.
- Mascot – Mighty Mite (miniature Spartan)
- School Colors – Blue & White
- Building History: The school was built in 1954 and originally
named Hillcrest Elementary. In 1960 the name was changed to McMillan
Elementary and is the only district school to be named after a
local family.
