Murray City School District parents—it’s time to rally your students for some friendly competition! Our March Madness Attendance Challenge is back, and this year, it’s bigger and better. Just like the real tournament, schools will go head-to-head in a bracket-style showdown, but instead of baskets, it’s all about showing up!

Each week, schools with the highest attendance rates will advance, bringing them closer to the championship title and some exciting prizes. Attendance is key to student success, and we’re making it fun with challenges, incentives, and school spirit. So, lace up those sneakers, set those alarms, and let’s make every day count!

The Bracket…

Week one are the “play-in” games, these were determined by ending scores in last year’s Attendance Challenge. March Madness bracket 2025

Scoring…
Even though schools will be facing each other in the bracket. The scoring is based on the school’s individual attendance improvement.  The school that improves its attendance the most wins! Every week counts, building on the previous one, so even if your team isn’t in a head-to-head challenge, your attendance still matters. Link to updated 2025 Standings sheet
