Parents, it has become necessary that we push the start of Kindergarten this year to Wednesday, August 24. We need to allow our teachers additional time to prepare for the year, while also conducting kindergarten assessments the week of August 15.
We apologize for the change, appreciate your understanding, and look forward to seeing our kindergarteners on the 24th.
Expressions of kindness and niceness go a long way toward building bridges of understanding and friendship. MCSD encourages educators, students, parents, and others to share notes of encouragement or praise (“Nice Notes”) and acts of kindness (“Caught in Kindness”) with the District to amplify these ideals.
