Out of an abundance of caution and preparedness that our students will be returning to classrooms this Fall, Murray City School District will provide water bottles for each student. This will minimize touch and contact points students experience each day at our school settings, further ensuring their safety.

Please note that additional safety measures are being discussed and coordinated among MCSD officials with our partners at the health department and neighboring school districts. When those are finalized in the weeks and months ahead we will share more.

To help with water bottles, we are calling on our always-generous business community to donate all or a portion of the water bottles we need to ensure each child has one. We will need at least 6,600 for our students – those who we anticipate being enrolled in the Fall along with additional students who enroll after. Plastic water bottles will be adequate and if they are donated from a business there are a number of different ways we can help celebrate your support.

If your business would be interested in participating in this effort, please contact Doug Perry at the District Office at 801264-7400 or at dperry@murrayschools.org. We are hoping to receive them no later than August 1.
