The Murray City School District Board of Education has appointed the following three administrators who will begin their assignment on July 1, 2022:

  • Scott Wihongi, Assistant Superintendent
  • Scott Taggart, Director of Support Services
  • Quinn Linde, Principal of Murray High School

Mr. Wihongi has been in education for 22 years. His experience as an administrator spans 13 years, having been an Assistant Principal at a junior high school and an Assistant Principal at two different high schools.  He has been the Principal of Murray High School for the past five years.  In addition, he taught science courses at both the high school and junior high school levels.  He holds degrees in Biology, Chemistry, and Educational Leadership.  Mr. Wihongi will fill the position currently held by Scott Bushnell, who is retiring.

Mr. Taggart has been in education for 28 years. His experience as an administrator spans 14 years, having been a high school Assistant Principal, Technical Education Center Principal, and Assistant Director of Facility Services.   In addition, he taught Chemistry, Biology, and Business at the high school level.  He holds degrees in Biology, Business Administration, and Educational Leadership.  Mr. Taggart will fill the position previously held by Dave Roberts, who accepted a Business Administrator position in another district.

Mr. Linde has been in education for nine years. His experience as an administrator spans five years, having been a high school Assistant Principal at two different high schools in Utah.   In addition, he taught Biology at the high school level.  He holds degrees in Biology and Educational Leadership.  Mr. Linde will fill the position previously held by Scott Wihongi, who is moving to the Assistant Superintendent position.
