Just a quick reminder and follow-up post to our message last week: All MCSD schools will return to in-person learning Wednesday, January 19. Under Health Department guidelines, MCSD students have not been together for five consecutive days, and as such our case counts will be reset to zero when students return to in-person learning on Wednesday. Further, we will report new case counts that are identified beginning January 19.
We again encourage those who are symptomatic to get stay home and get tested as they are able. The school bell schedule will also be in effect as reflected here.
And, as an additional reminder, the State has suspended all “Test to Stay” protocols for the Omicron variant due to staffing and testing supply shortages. We will continue to monitor, review, and make decisions based on case counts and recommendations from our experts at the Health Department.
