Welcome to the Class of 2039! Kindergarten Registration Starts March 4

Kindergarten online registration opens district-wide on March 4, 2026, and closes June 18, 2026. It will re-open for all grades on July 28, 2026. While schools offer specific in-person registration days (listed below), parents are encouraged to register their 2026-27 kindergartner online as soon as the window opens.
Program Options and Requirements
In compliance with 53G-7-203, Murray City School District’s standard kindergarten program is full-day. We also offer a half-day option (8:40–11:40 am) where students receive the minimum standards for state board requirements.
Important Note on Staffing: To ensure necessary staffing arrangements, families selecting a half-day option after the priority registration window (March 4 – June 5, 2026) will not be counted in the student threshold for R277-730.
Additionally, HB331 requires students to be toilet trained before enrolling in kindergarten. If you need assistance or resources to help your child meet this requirement before school starts, please review this Toilet Training resource guide in English or Spanish.
