Small Steps, Big Math! Join MCSD for the "Milo & Friends" Early Learners Event

Building a strong foundation in math starts early—and it all begins with play! Murray City School District, in partnership with the Utah STEM Action Center, invites families with children ages 3 to 5 (Preschool and Kindergarten) to an interactive community event: the Milo and Friends Math Event.
Designed specifically for early learners and their parents or caregivers, this free event focuses on simple, delightful ways to integrate foundational math concepts into everyday family play.
Did You Know? Educational research consistently reveals that a child's math skills upon entering kindergarten are the single strongest predictor of later academic success—exceeding early reading ability or attention skills. Yet, studies show that over 90% of caregivers feel unsure about how to introduce math concepts at home. Events like Milo & Friends give parents simple, stress-free tools to bridge that gap through everyday play!
