Gentle Yoga: Taught by Jamie Chandler

Gentle Yoga is a form of classical hatha yoga. Perfect for any fitness level; including pregnant women. The gentle poses and techniques reduce stress, assist with weight management, and produce greater health and well-being. Students need to be able to get up and down from the floor. A yoga mat and blanket are required. All classes will be held at Hillcrest Jr. High in the dance studio. Wednesday Evenings from 6:00-7:15 PM.

8 pass punch passes are available for $56. Money cannot be taken day of the class. A punch pass must be presented at each class.

This FREE course uses the Parenting the Love and Logic
Way® curriculum and teaches parents how to raise
responsible kids and enjoy parenting. Participants will learn
how to end power struggles with their children, teach
responsibility, and prevent arguments.

Registration will begin on Friday, August 9, 2024, at 8:00 AM. Class is limited to 16 students.

• Students are responsible for their own pottery tools
• Each student will receive a bag of clay on the first day of class (additional bags are $12)

Registration is closed for the 2024-2025 school year. Registration will open again in May 2025.

MCE Dance tuition is due twice a year, once in August and once in January. The following are the 2023-2024 Dance Tutition fees:

• Beginning Preschool (45 minutes/week) $75
• Show Group (1 hour/week) $95
• Strutters (1 hour/week) $110
• All Star Hip Hop (1 hour/week) $110
• Jr/Sr Starlettes (2 hours/week) $120
• Starlette Dancers (3 hours/week) $180
• Starlette Company (5 hours/week) $205

Tuition and Costume Payments

MCE Dance Information:

• Murray Community Education Dance is for dancers from 3 – 18 years old. (3 year old dancers must be potty trained) We offer Tap, Ballet, Jazz, and Hip Hop dance classes.
• Classes are held once a week for an hour. (As your dancer advances they will have the opportunity to try out for ‘audition only’ classes. Class times and hours will vary for these classes)
• Tuition is $95 for each class, due once in August and again in January. (For a total of $190/year)
• A recital will be held in December and May. All performing classes will participate in both performances.
  • 3 year old classes do not perform in the recital
• One costume will be purchased in August and it will be worn for both performances.
  • We try to keep the cost of the costume at under $85
