On February 15, 2024, at 5:00 p.m., the Murray City School District Board of Education met in a special board meeting and approved the following statement:

“The Murray City School District Board of Education supports and stands in solidarity with the Granite School District Board of Education Resolution in condemning the actions of an elected official specifically charged with caring for the well-being and welfare of Utah’s school children and calls on Natalie Cline to resign from her position on the Utah State Board of Education.”

Murray City School District remains steadfast in its resolve to ensure that every child has the right to learn and participate in a safe educational environment.
