Report of the Board
Attending Veterans Day Celebrations; Legislative Breakfast was valuable; Appreciate all the time put into boundary and facilities studies; Attendance committee has great ideas working on; Gifted and Talented committee doing great things to benefit children; Appreciate the work of the PTA; Gratitude for fellow board members; HS Flex program working really well; Networking with boards of other districts; PTA Meet the Candidates night was an excellent opportunity; Brandon Mull event was fun and magical; BizTown events are wonderful; Ballots are out for local elections – encouraging everyone to vote; Career Day at the HS was great and had great response from community to participate; Salt Lake County Parks and Rec Advisory Board Committee is looking for structure for accessibility to children; Discussing transparency issues with USBE, including legislation that will be proposed.
