sightfestMurray City School District (MCSD) proudly partners with Friends for Sight and their annual Sightfest event, providing free eye exams and glasses to those who qualify.

Your child qualifies to participate in Sightfest if they:

  1. Failed their district vision screening in the Fall,
  2. Do not have medical insurance or Medicaid that covers a vision exam or glasses,
  3. And if your child is eligible for free or reduced lunches at school.

If your child has insurance, call the phone number on the back of your insurance card/paperwork for a list of participating eye doctors and benefit information.

If you cannot get an eye doctor evaluation for your child and need assistance, contact us. This invitation includes students whose glasses are lost or broken and require replacement. To take advantage of this opportunity, please sign and return this permission slip (ENGLISH | SPANISH) (also available at school offices) by Thursday, January 11.
