HOW TO CHECK STUDENT LUNCH BALANCES:
MCSD is connected to the Utah State program called ASPIRE. You will find the link to this program at the top of every webpage of this site. (It is on the far right of the black band at the top of the page and says: Aspire/SIS Grades & Attendance.)
You must have a Login to access your school lunch balance information. If you do not have a Login, you may set one up by going to the ASPIRE site area where you will need to “Request a User Name” for setting up a new account. Once you are logged in, click on your student’s name, and your current lunch balance should show. If you have questions about this, please contact David or Kay (information above).
The SodexoMyWay.com website is a comprehensive solution for keeping students and parents updated on information about student nutritional well-being. Sodexo, a company committed to enhancing a healthy learning environment in support of student well-being and achievement for Murray School District, has launched an interactive new website for the community, parents and students. This new tool, known as SodexoMyWay, will replace the prior Sodexo Education website.
The Murray City School District Nutrition Services operates kitchens in every District school to serve an average of 4,000 breakfast and lunch meals per day. The team goal is to provide the best nutritional choices and while considering student taste preferences. District school meals meet nutritional standards set forth by the United States Department of Agriculture for calories, protein, carbohydrate, fat, saturated fat, cholesterol, Vitamin A, Vitamin C and iron. A variety of choices are offered at every meal and students are encouraged to take only what they will eat to minimize waste. District menus change constantly to incorporate new products that are low fat, less sugar, whole wheat, wholegrain, and trans-fat free; also by incorporating more fresh fruits and vegetables and never frying foods. If your child has special diet concerns such as diabetes or food allergies, you may contact your School Nurse or the District Nutrition Services Supervisor.
