Summer is going fast! We hope our Murray families and students are enjoying a safe and fun break! While you are squeezing in that last little bit of fun, let’s get our kids ready for school this month.
Online registration for school is now open! Go here to register your student now. Please remember that regardless of attendance at Murray School District last year, all students must re-register.
New Students and Late Registration
Though you will find digital registration convenient, Murray offers in-person registration at any of our schools. The dates and times for that are listed in our Launch Guide.
ESL Parent Registration Assistance
Once again, we offer an ESL Registration Assistance night at Hillcrest Jr. High School on Aug 8, 2023, 4:00 to 8:00 pm. This is for families who have language barrier support needs to register their students. School administrators will also be on hand to assist with several other important resources. More than a Meal…
When registering, please complete the Free/Reduced School Lunch Program Application. More than just a free or reduced meal, it unlocks other resources for your family and student(s). But it also helps us with accurate enrollment data to determine our qualifications for certain government grants that benefit students. You can complete the application through your Aspire account but also on our website here under the Resources tab.
First Days of School
- August 18 for 7th Grade Students
- August 21 for 1-6th, 8-12th Grade Students
- August 28 for Kindergarten (individual assessments are the week prior)
Calendars and Bell Schedules
Murray City School District’s official school year calendar and the bell schedules for our schools are located on our website, across the top menu bar. Or you can click here and go right to them – you will also see the 2024-25 school year calendar.
Healthcare Visits
Don’t wait to schedule any immunizations, physicals, and dental visits your student(s) need. Healthcare schedules tend to fill up fast as school nears.
School Registrations and Back-to-School Night Events
