Murray Education Foundation (MEF) supporters and sponsors have been teeing off for Murray teachers and kids for 25 years now.
Held in late August at Murray Parkway Golf Course, the annual MEF Golf Tournament connects a collection of compassionate community leaders with the needs of Murray educators. Proceeds from the tournament fund MEF’s teacher and principal grant program, which funds the creativity and innovation of Murray School District teachers and administrators.
Educators are invited to request funding for small projects that directly benefit students. They allow for teachers and others to think outside the box and dive into ideas they are passionate about, but that need additional funding not otherwise available to them.
Through 2022, the Golf Tournament has raised more than $409,900, which has funded nearly 1394 different grants,
