parent at workRoutine and emergency communication with our families is a critical function at Murray City School District and our schools. When we make important announcements, we trust your contact information in our Student Information System (known as Aspire), and ParentSquare notification settings are both accurate and uncompromised.

What You Can Do

Keep your login information for Aspire and ParentSquare private. If you share a device or computer as a family, log out of Aspire or ParentSquare accounts after using them.

Students shouldn’t have access as some have used it to change information that keeps parents or guardians unaware of absences or late notices, lunch balance messages, and other important school and district communications.

You can log in and change the password if they have access to your account. And if you get locked out of Aspire, you can work with your school secretary to restore it.

Unfortunately, some parents and guardians are unaware they are not getting notices. To further prevent that, please periodically log in to Aspire and review your contact information. When you obtain a new email address or phone number, please update that in your Aspire account.

Of course, a good indication things are inaccurate is no longer getting messages from your school or the district. We are sensitive to the amount of information you receive, but you can expect a steady flow of important messages throughout the school year. This is an added assurance our lines of communication are open and functioning as they should.

Accurate Communications = Safety

Again, clear channels of communication are a safety issue. ParentSquare and Aspire work well together to create a fantastic system. But they are only effective when they have accurate contact information managed and updated by our families.
